• Pickup from Bagdogra Airport on 2nd January. • Drive to Indo-Bhutan border at Phuentsholing via scenic tea garden estates. • Complete immigration formalities and proceed to Thimphu via Gedu (9000 ft). • En route, view Chukha Dam and Wankha Waterfalls. • Evening free for exploring Thimphu local market. • Overnight stay in Thimphu.
• Visit the following attractions: • Simply Bhutan Museum – A living museum showcasing Bhutanese traditions. • National Memorial Chorten. • Buddha Dordenma Statue. • Changangkha Lhakhang. • Motithang Takin Preserve. • Painting School. • Clock Tower Square. • Tashichho Dzong – The seat of Bhutan's central government. • Overnight stay in Thimphu.
• Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (10,200 ft), with stunning mountain views. • Visit: • Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility). • Punakha Dzong – Architectural marvel by the river. • Punakha Suspension Bridge. • Return to Thimphu in the evening. • Overnight stay in Thimphu.
